*Due to the COVID pandemic the rules for the
pit area has changed. Please read driver application carefully to understand
rules per location. Thank you.
Pit Gate Closes One
(1) Hour before show time of event. Any driver that arrives after this will be
subject to a $100 late fee.Inspection closes 45 minutes before show. Any car not
inspected will also be subject to a $50 late fee.Please be on time!!!!
All drivers and pit crew will
sign pit waiver and receive a pit pass. Failure to wear pit pass in a visible
location will result in removal from pit area.
General Rules:
***If car does not pass inspection or driver is
unwilling to change car to pass inspection - absolutely no refunds!!
1.
Drivers must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license. Ages 16 –17
must have a notarized permission slip. The person that signs in as the driver
must be the driver for that event!
2. Driver must wear;Shoes,pants,shirt, seat belt and
helmet, along with eye protection.A long sleeve shirt and or fire retardant
jacket is highly recommended. ALL drivers and crew members must attend the
drivers meeting.Drivers meeting will usually be 15 minutes before scheduled time
of event.PLEASE make sure to attend.
3.
DO NOT hit the driver’s door! Sometimes this happens, but if it looks
intentional or carelessness, you will be disqualified. Don’t use your door as a
shield; it may cause you to get disqualified.
4.
Any open door will cause disqualification. If in heat, you may fix it and come
back in the consolation.
5.
NO sandbagging or holding!!! You will be disqualified!
6.
No alcohol or drugs in the pits, if anyone is caught with this, they will be
disqualified, this includes their pit crew.
7.
Cars are subject to re-inspection before any prize money is handed out.
Only
drivers and flagman will be allowed on the track after the event until all cars
have been released to their pit. Please all drivers stay close to your vehicle
for removal from track.
8. Any controversies will be taken up at the drivers
meeting.
9. Any
questions give us a call! If it doesn’t say you can do it, don’t do it. Call
1st!! Judges decisions are FINAL!!!

2020 Full Size Semi Stock Rules
A.) Any American or Foreign car except Chrysler Imperial, Hearse or 1969 and older Lincolns
B.)Body:
1. Remove all glass, mirrors, plastic, along with
decking in wagons BEFORE arrival to track.
2. NO fresh tucked wagons!!! Pre Run wagons will
be allowed to sedagon but may only wire the roof in (4) spots sheet metal to
sheet metal.
3. Trunk lid may be tucked, creased or removed.
4. Anything can be Removed. Nothing can be Added
unless stated in the rules. Please do not assume that its legal if it is not
stated.
5. NO WELDING unless it is stated in these rules.
6. Hood will be open for Tech upon request.
Failure to do so will result in disqualification.
7. Doors are to be wired, chained or welded shut.
Doors may be welded with a total of 12 inches of weld only on front,back,top
and bottom of the door seam.
8A Hoods will be allowed 8 pieces of #9 wire, 4
loops per wrap or 6 bolts All wire or bolts must be from sheet metal to
sheet metal only. On hoods only the front (2) core support bolts CAN be used
to hold down the hood. Washers are to be no larger than 1/8 thickness and
(3) Three inch by (3) Three inch round or square. All cars MUST compete with
a hood.
8B Trunks can be fastened in one of the following ways; 10 spots of wire,4 loops per wrap. 6 bolts,sheet metal to sheet metal along with 2 pieces of allthread that may be no longer than 36 inches. All thread may be welded to the side of the frame. 3/4 all thread or smaller. Or trunk can be welded in 4 spots with no more than 6 inches of weld. Must choose 1 of these options. Tailgate may follow these rules also
9. All Body mounts MUST remain original with
the exception of the front 2 core support bolts and 4 other spots inside of
the drivers compartment. These 4 bolts may be no larger than 1/2, must be
inside of the frame and must use the rubber mount. If you choose not to
change any body mounts you may add 4 bolts ANYWHERE in the car.Core support
bolts changed are to be no larger than 1in.
Any other broken mounts may have #9 wire 2 strands
ran through the body and the frame. You will also be allowed to wire body to
the frame in 4 other locations anywhere in the car.
C. Frames
1. NO WELDING AT ALL with the exception of fresh
or pre ran cars will be allowed a total of (6) fix it plates. Plates are
only allowed to be 4in by 4in 3/16 thickness. These are the only plates that
are allowed. No others will be allowed.
*** IF A FRESH CAR HAS THE 6 PLATES YOU WILL HAVE
TO CUT THESE OFF TO PUT ANY OTHERS ON, NO EXCEPTIONS!!!***
D. Drive train
1. Any motor may be used in any vehicle. Motor
must be mounted on stock Type engine mounts. A lower engine cradle, with a
pulley protector is allowed. Sway bar MUST be removed. Lower engine mounts
must still be stock though. On all V block engines, #1 spark plug must be no
further back of upper ball joint. No homemade cross members, must be
original. On cars implementing engine swaps please use a stock cross member.
If no cross member is available please contact RRP with questions.
2. Motors must be Bolt in Only. NO WELDING with
exception of frame side motor mount
3. Any type rearend will be permitted.Rear coil
springs may be wired in to hold them in place. Leaf spring cars may have 3
clamps used as leaf spring clamps. 2 in by 2in utilizing a 3/8 bolt is all
that’s permitted. Factory leaf springs only. Watts link conversion on 98 and
newer will be allowed. Upper brackets must be bolted in. Lower brackets will
only be allowed one single pass of weld on mounting bracket. Homemade arms
may be shortened or lengthened and reinforced.
4. Floor shift is allowed. Cable shifter is
allowed.
5. Exhaust through hood is allowed.
6. Engine protectors, distributor protectors and
transmission protectors will be allowed BUT can not be used to reinforce the
car. Firewall must be cut out and dash bar must not make any type of contact
with protectors or immediate disqualification will result. Transmission
brace must not tie into any part of the car and just be used as protection
of your transmission. We understand that these parts are expensive and want
you to protect your investment.
7. Any type of driveshaft is allowed.
E. Driver Compartment
1. A 4 point cage will be allowed and highly
recommended. Dash bar, seat bar and 2 sides. No further back than 6 inches
behind driver’s seat. We will also allow 4 down tubes off the cage that must
run straight down from cage to floor only. They can not be welded to the
frame. A rollover bar is recommended but must not be welded to frame. A fuel
tank protector will be allowed. It must be no wider than 30 inches wide and
must have at least 1 inch of gap from the back seat upper area.
2. Padding of driver’s door recommended.
3. Gas tank and battery must be relocated and
secured.
4. Transmission coolers WILL be allowed but must
be properly secured and proper lines MUST be used. Safety first!!!
5. Steering may be modified to allow driver more
room. Steering shaft may have u-joints or swivels. Gearbox adapter plates
are allowed.
6. Homemade throttle pedal and brake pedal will be
allowed.
F. Bumpers.
1. Any automobile bumper may be mounted on any
car. Bumper may be welded to shock bracket. Bumper skin may be pounded down
and welded to inner bumper. Homemade bumpers will be allowed but must have a
steel bumper skin and bumper can NOT have a point more than 4 inches.No
Exceptions!!
2. Shocks may be collapsed and may be welded
lightly. Bumpers may be welded directly to the frame.
3. If you choose NOT to weld bumper, ONE piece of
chain per side BOLTED may be used to secure bumper. These chains may run
around bumper and be bolted back to an existing bolt on the frame. May also
run 2 loops of wire, or weld a 2 in metal strap out board of radiator, from
radiator support to bumper.
G. BRAKES MUST SHOW THE ABILITY TO STOP. All cars will be checked at inspection. Any car without brakes will not be allowed to compete!!! Pinion brake is allowed.

2020 Stock MINI CAR
1. Refer to General Rules for non-building rules.
2. This class is very stock – intended for the beginner or someone who wants to build a vehicle in a day or two. No additional work may be done to the vehicle. ANY MODIFICATIONS MADE TO VEHICLE NOT STATED IN THESE RULES WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION!! NO EXCEPTIONS!!
3. NO 4X4 VEHICLES ALLOWED. ONLY FRONT WHEEL DRIVE VEHICLES 111 in wheelbase or smaller Unibody Mid Size or compact cars.
4. Vehicle must be left completely factory stock, except as noted below.
5. Remove all spare tires, trailer hitches, glass, bumper covers, air bags, chrome, plastic, molding, wheel weights, A/C coolant, antifreeze and flammable material from inside and outside of the vehicle before entering event. Dash may be left in or may be removed. Windshield also may be left in vehicle.
6. Stock gas tank must be removed from under vehicle if located behind rear axle. If tank is located in front of axle it can remain in stock location.A small metal tank must be mounted in the rear seat area. The tank must be very secure and covered. If you need to use the original tank due to the fuel injection system, you will be allowed to. Tank mounting, covering and fuel delivery lines must be very safe. Use the properly rated lines. Plastic tanks not allowed, unless it is a factory tank.
7. Electronic fuel system allowed (if vehicle came from the factory with it) but you must mount an easy to reach switch that must be clearly marked on/off.
8. All suspension MUST REMAIN STOCK!!! No Exceptions!!!
9. Hood must have 12”x12” minimum hole to easily extinguish engine fires.
10. Doors are recommended to be chained, wired or welded shut in a max of two places per door. If welded (6) six inches maximum.
11. Hood, trunk, & tailgate are recommended to be secured in at least 2 spots and no more than 6.
12. Battery must be relocated inside of the vehicle, secured and covered. One battery max.
13. Dash bar and seat bars are allowed for driver’s safety. Bars may be connected to each other with door bars. Bars may not extend past the firewall and may not extend rearward beyond six inches behind front seat. Cage may not tie into floor, rear frame humps, drive train or frame.
14. Factory original drive train must be used.
15. Any tire or wheel can be used. Stock bumpers only. Any car that does not have a steel bumper may replace bumper with a mini car steel bumper but must be mounted on the original brackets of the car you are participating in.
16. All cars must have a legible number on roof mounted sign. Choose your number, first come – first served

2020 Mini Van/Mini Truck Rules

3. Any mini van/sport utility/mini truck is legal. Some events will be just mini truck or just mini van. Mini vans may compete with mini trucks at mini truck only events.
4. Vehicle must be left completely factory stock, except as noted below.

Any American or Foreign Truck or SUV 3/4 ton or less. 4x4 vehicles must remove driveshaft. NO FORD SUPER DUTY OR HIGHBOY
B.)Body:

compete with a hood.
9. All Body mounts may remain original with
the exception of the front 2 core support bolts. These may be changed to
no larger than 1in. Body mounts may be changed in cab and box to 1/2 in.
Box will be allowed 4 extra 1/2in bolts
C. Frames
1. NO WELDING AT ALL!!!

contact RRP prior to any repairs are made. ****
D. Drive train
1. Any motor may be used in any vehicle.

Spider Gears only may be welded. Leaf spring trucks must use only
factory spring clamps. Rear axle can be chained, wired or clamped to
frame. A single rear end brace will be allowed.

5. Exhaust through hood is allowed.
6. Engine Protectors,distributor protectors
and transmission protectors will be allowed but can not be used as any
type of reinforcement. It must only be used to protect your engine and
transmission.
7. Any type of driveshaft is allowed.
